A Forest Estates resident sent another plea to County Councilmember Nancy Floreen, asking for her support for the Georgia Avenue tunnel project. We are VERY excited to read her response:

" You have my promise to support this project. It will come to the full Council in December, but I have a briefing set up in October for the Transportation and EnvironmentCommittee, which I chair, because I know how important this project is to your community. I sent my senior aide to the meeting at Holy Cross last monthbecause I want all the information I can get on this issue, and unfortunately, I was tied up that evening. But she reported that the project is number one for the area. So I will be there for you. Councilmember Nancy Floreen"
