"I firmly believe that the bridge/tunnel access to the Forest Glen Metro across Georgia Avenue should be a very high priority for the County in its Transportation Plan and the Priorities List that goes to the State.
As I discussed with you, my "druther" would be a bridge because it would be cheaper and probably faster. That said, I believe that the engineering decision regarding design should be the ultimate call in terms of the type. The real issue here is getting the access as soon as possible.
By this e-mail, I am commiting my support to placing the bridge/tunnel across Georgia Avenue at Forest Glen Road on the County's Transportation Priorities List this winter/spring. In fact, it should be one of the top priorities.
