"A pedestrian tunnel under Georgia Avenue at Forest Glen is long overdue. Besides saving lives, the tunnel would reconnect a neighborhood that has long been bisected and encourage growth in Metro ridership. One of the most important roles of a State Delegate is lobbying the State agencies such as the State Highway Administration for needed improvements. As a three-term Councilman in the Town of Kensington, my highest priority has been advocating for pedestrian safety improvements on the four state roads in our Town.
