Al Carr, who has been a true friend in our fight for a new Metro Entrance, has won the appointment to be our new D18 delegate. Here is what Al had to say about our intersection last year:

"A pedestrian tunnel under Georgia Avenue at Forest Glen is long overdue. Besides saving lives, the tunnel would reconnect a neighborhood that has long been bisected and encourage growth in Metro ridership.
